everyone goes on about messi and ronaldo being the best because they play for the best clubs in the world, when you have rooney, iniesta, players in the bundesliga.. they just get over shadowed by those 2, it’s quite sad really.
@bloodybutsa because rooney’s talents are wasted in midfield. He’s been tried in that position alreay this season and went on a 7 game goaless streak. hes the main man upfront for one reason and that is to score goals. if you throw him in the midfield you are putting far too much pressure on him to deliver for the whole team. its been quite clear this season that he cant be relied on to carry the team and so we need someone else who can dictate the play and create chances
